Tommy Fleetwood, despite his unprecedented lack of success, has $20 million in which to rejoice.

Tommy Fleetwood turned professional in 2010. More than a decade later, the English golfer is still looking for his first PGA Tour victory.

His pursuit continues after he fell short of his goal again on Sunday, finishing tied for third with Rory McIlroy in the 2023 FedEx St. Jude Championship.

Having said that, Fleetwood still made history – and a lot of money, according to Justin Ray of The Athletic.

Fleetwood entered the playoffs with a total PGA Tour earnings of $18,985,523. He only needed a little more than a million dollars to break the $20 million barrier in his career,

and that's precisely what he came away with at TPC Southwind. By placing third, Fleetwood contributed $1,160,000 to his bank account and overall PGA Tour winnings,

making him the organization's first winless player to reach at least $20 million in winnings.The 32-year-old Fleetwood went 16 of 19 in the regular season and came runner-up in the 2023 RBC Canadian Open,
